Since our founding in 1984, our location in Bad Goisern by Lake Hallstatt has always been the same. This constant defined in the company’s mission statement offers security.
Among other things, this also results in lower shipping costs, faster delivery times and shorter transport routes for our customers in Austria and Europe. The latter is of course also good for the environment.
Our company history documents how we, as a family business, have developed into a producer of an internationally known eye-wear brand.

For us it is very important to create sustainable, long-term jobs in the region and to strengthen Austria as a business location. That is why we have been training apprentices in our own apprenticeship workshop for many years.

OPTICON AWARD 2022
Today we were once again very happy to receive two OPTICON Awards. Once again, we were voted best frame supplier, and our account manager Manfred Ferstl was also named OPTICON Hero 2022 again this year.

POMBERGER Goisern achieved first place in the second category “Companies between 31 and 100 employees” in 2021.
OPTICON AWARD 2021
POMBERGER Goisern can call two awards its own. Aleksej Moritz is this year’s OPTICON Hero 2021 and POMBERGER Goisern can score points as the best frame supplier.

POMBERGER Goisern received the Opticon Hero Award in 2019 with its account manager Manfred Ferstl.

TRAUNSTEIN AWARD 2014
In 2014 the “Traunstein Award” honored important companies in the region. POMBERGER Goisern was awarded the Traunstein Award in the “Innovation” category this year.
HANDWERKSPREIS 2014
In 2014 the company Hans Peter Pomberger e.U. (Today POMBERGER Goisern GmbH) was honored with the Upper Austrian “Handwerkspreis”. The company was awarded the 1st prize for special craftsmanship in the “Fashion & Lifestyle” category.
